The Ballbarians Storm the Gate.
Dateline 17/May/o5. "The Independent News" of United Kingdom."Workers at Land Rover's Solihull production plant were left choking in their early morning tea yesterday when 30 Greenpeace activists stormed the assembly line and began bolting themselves to half-built cars in a protest against "gas-guzzling" four wheel drives."
As the old saying goes here we go again, while yes it's in Europe, it's a clear case of a socialist thinking group of do-gooders forcing their will and plans on the individual citizenry. Whatever happened to living by example? If their lives are so wonderful then, throngs of people should be joining Greenpeace on a daily basis. But as we can see it does not and they have to stoop to tricks, just like the American military recruiters tried to do but got caught. And today Tuesday the 17th, of May is a day for recruiter retraining, and no one will be joining up today, if you are one of the the happy then oorah! to you. Back to the article.
"The jump-suited environmentalists ran in at 7am, shortly before work began. "This is a warning to 4x4 manufactures and drivers that things must change." said one protester Mark Strutt, who remained chained to a hand brake for seven hours."
"Activists said that they would only leave when Land Rover agreed to produce more fuel-efficient cars. Assembly resumed mid-afternoon, however, when firemen cut the protesters machinery."
Most of the article was concerned that due to aggressive marketing of 4x4s, the urban citizen now feels the need to drive in the larger vchicles which in turn go against the socialist edict of Greenpeace. And just like any church, or political movement wants to increase it's funding so does Greenpeace, and to do that they need "minions" or in their case less Land Rover drivers, and more "mini" drivers although I think they won't be satisfied until the vehicle of choice is a little more Russian, or even the bicycle. The ultimate goal to put the Range Rover employees out of work as environmental criminals.
"Mark Foster, a spokes-man for Land Rover, denied that the company was a "climate criminal". Speaking to reporters outside the plant gates, he said: "We accept that the petrol Range Rover will do just over 12mpg in urban areas but the majority [65 per cent] of Range Rovers we sell are diesel and do 20mpg."
"We are in a tough industry-you only have to look at Longbridge [the closure of Rover] to see that-and in a free society people have the right to choose what car to drive."
The last sentence says it all the goal of Greenpeace is to put people out of work, and to destroy what's left of the United Kingdom's "free society."
